Q: On Vista Machines, when pressing "ok" after entering registration information - error "Problem creating registration file"
A: Right click on the Chairside icon on the desktop and choose 'Run as Administrator'
Q: Error when loading "No Security key is found. Please insert your security key and start again"
A: Check that the key is plugged in to the proper computer.
Q: Registration window keeps appearing.
A: This means that the information entered is not accurate. Please check the information. In addition, make sure that the top right hand corner shows your key number.
Q: Cannot see created Series.
A: Check the file permission on the server to see that the ChairsideServer folder has full access permission to write and read files for everyone.
Q: Cannot see some movies in Windows Vista
A: Some movies are blocked due to User access control, disable 'User Access Control'
Q: When playing movie Error "Macromedia Projector Error"
A: Change QuickTime to play in Safe mode by going to Control Panel -> QuickTime -> Advanced
Q: What files are shared on the Server?
A: The files on the server are data files that keep a record of patients created as well as the program user information. It also keeps all series that are created. Minimal network usage.
Q: Error "This program cannot run"
A: QuickTime is not installed, please install QuickTime from the DVD or download it from www.apple.com
Q: Does the license screen load up every time the program is launched.
A: Yes.
Q: Cannot go to create New as it says that user does not have privileges.
A: Under Configuration select 'Login' enter username and password as 'admin'.
Q: Is the Chairside software on a CD or a DVD.
A: it’s on a DVD.
Q: Education Not Found Error when loading Chairside.
A: Incomplete installation. Remove Chairside Folder and re-install software.
Q: The registration window keeps appearing and I cannot press ok.
A: The information in the window is incorrect, check that the information is correct.
