This movie shows what happens when we attach a tooth and an implant together. Since the tooth is mobile (periodontal ligament cushion) and the implant is completely non-mobile, attaching them creates stress on the bone next to the implant which in turn resorbs. This creates a cantilever on the tooth since there is nothing holding the implant now.
